Services

The Rainwater Observatory and Planetarium offers astronomy related presentations, telescope observing events, lectures, and/or planetarium shows for as many as 200 groups each year. These programs and observing events are presented both here at the observatory and on location for “away” groups with the exception of the indoor planetarium shows. They are geared for a variety of different groups and organizations including but not limited to universities, schools, libraries, museums, science centers, observatories, aviation firms, conferences, scout groups, various civic organizations, churches and other faith based organizations.
